Tomorrow marks the second annual Finnish Nature Days and the theme this year is “Go wild in the spring”.
You and your family have been invited to join us at the Latu Hut to have a family hike!
My classmate Satu and I have organized all kinds of fun activities at the Hut courtyard. We’re there from 9 AM to 2 PM, so come say hello!
Walk a nature trail or two, one’s for the little ones and the other is for us adults. You can also Frisbee golf and roast sausages by the fire. I’ll be telling you guys about hiking gear and hiking safety.
The whole event is free of charge and well suited for families.
How to get there:
Ronsuntaipaleentie 279, 40500 Jyväskylä.
Ladun maja (The Latu Hut) will guide you to the top parking lot but just follow the road all the way down. There’s room for about 150 cars in total.
Jyväskylä Latu organizes all kinds of activities in addition to this one
In honor of our dear 100-year-old Finland, there are several events happening all over the country. The idea is to celebrate our rich nature and lower the bar for people to get outside and enjoy it.
Jyväskylä Latu is also a part of the following events:
- June 17th: Spend the night outdoors
- August 26th: Celebrate nature
So join us and bring your friends!
