I'm just going to throw this out there: sometimes you don't feel like going outside.
In February I acquainted myself with an interesting destination; Jurmo Island in the archipelago.
What incredible luck we had to be in the Hannukuru wilderness hut when the Summer storm hit the North.
Another excellent pro tip heard on this trek was merino wool doesn't smell, it's the person wearing it. The night in a warm tent with the ice booming underneath was, in a word, hysterical.
One can't call themselves a fisherman if one hasn't scored a 10 kg pike at least once.
On my adult years I realized a childhood hobby had been reactivated; horseback riding.
But I didn't get into this just for fun.
We just stood there in silence, taking it all in.
